It is essential that your gas boiler be serviced on a regular basis, usually every 12 months. This is to ensure that it is operating safely and also so that the manufacturer's warranty is maintained. Many home insurance companies also now require an annual boiler service as part of their policy cover.

Our engineer will carry out a full gas safe compliant inspection of the appliance to ensure it meets regulations and manufacturers requirements. A digital or hardcopy certificate will be provided after the inspection and any additional recommendations will be discussed directly with the homeowner or landlord.

Your Inspection will include:

1. Check the appliance and additional gas pipework for tightness to ensure no gas escapes.

2. Carry out a visual inspection of the appliance, both internal & external and the condition of the flue.

3. Check that the ventilation is suitable for the specific appliance.

4. Check the working and/or burner pressure of the appliance.

5. Calculate the appliance gas rate to ensure efficient operation.

6. If required, carry out a flue flow test and/or spillage test.

7. Check that all safety devices are operating correctly.

8. Carry out a flue analysis to determine safe levels of Carbon Monoxide and proper combustion.
